PHYSICAL THERAPY
WHAT IS WOMEN’S HEALTH PHYSICAL THERAPY?
Women are beautifully made. Women’s Health is a specialization within the field of physical therapy designed to specifically treat those issues that affect women, which include issues related to pregnancy and the postpartum period, menopause, pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence, sexual dysfunction, and urogynecological disorders. We additionally are highly skilled at treating hip, pelvis, lower back, and musculoskeletal disorders related to overall women’s health and function. Pelvic physical therapy also focuses on restoring the health of the pelvic floor as it impacts bowel and bladder function. Our physical therapists have extensive training in all of women’s health including pelvic floor dysfunction and internal assessment and treatment techniques.
Due to the sensitive nature of this work, we provide a safe, private environment for you to discuss your concerns with your physical therapist at your evaluation and in subsequent visits. We use treatment methods including manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, stretching, soft tissue release, cupping, dry needling, biofeedback, and exercise including pilates-based and yoga-based methods. Each treatment is designed with you as an individual in mind and thus each person’s treatment is different. We will work as a team to help you achieve your highest possible level of function, as we are devoted to empower and support you in your healing journey.

Nutritional Counseling
Nutrition is about so much more than just sustenance. The food and drink choices we make have a direct impact on not only our physical health but our mental health too.
Tiffany is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) who is passionate about working with women of all ages to simplify eating well to feel well. She understands there is no “one size fits all” approach to nutrition and that restrictive eating and fad diets are a thing of the past (thankfully!). She will get to know each of her clients personally to identify barriers, set realistic goals, and plan how to properly fuel the days and weeks ahead. She has 2 years of both inpatient and outpatient clinical nutrition counseling experience as well as over 5 years of nutrition education experience through community nutrition programs. She is an Army veteran who will meet you where you’re at and work diligently alongside her clients to achieve their unique set of goals to get them feeling (and eating) better than ever!
